Calamine

Calamine, queer and feminist rapper, offers a hard-hitting, festive and resolutely committed show. With scathing performances, she tackles hetero-patriarchy while celebrating personal degrowth, alongside her beatmaker Kethe Magane and a musical ensemble. Her lyrics, tinged with irreverence and eco-anxiety, combine enthusiasm and cynicism, making her concerts a veritable manifesto of empowerment and liberation. Dance on the rubble of a world in crisis.

Montreal’s queer beatmaker is imposing her unique vision on today’s hip-hop scene. Her intelligent, sexy and playful writing is supported by solid rhythms, which she creates herself, taking every step of the creative process on her shoulders. Her first self-produced album, Synesthésies, illustrates the many ways in which she questions herself and looks at the world, which is gradually becoming multicolored. To experience and feel all the colors of the spectrum.
