Mushfiq and his ensemble will lift the TD Stage into high ecstasy thanks to the galvanizing songs of the qawwali and the enthusiastic petulance of Bollywood music. This charismatic singer and Afghan harmonium player has been immersed in the richness of Indian heritage all his life and intends to introduce you to it. Make way for travel with this show that crosses the time and geographies of this thousand-year-old culture.

Accompanied by festive musicians, this mischievous virtuoso will plunge you body and soul into a universe of irresistible charms. You will discover the song of eloquence within a moving qawwali session. During this Sufi ritual of exquisite poetry, the singer engages in a game of repetition that exhausts the variations of dizzyingly beautiful melodies to the point of intoxication. Under a crescendo rhythm, this dialogue with the instruments will cumulate to moments of musical discharges that will make you delve into an ecstatic delirium!

Once this exquisite moment of high traditions has been consumed, Mushfiq will guide you on the roads of Bombay for a journey around the songs upon which the glory of the Indian music industry was founded. The opportunity to revel in a genre that has been able to revisit, with an invigorating playfulness, the uppermost dancing traditions of the country!

Harmonium, tabla, tanpura, kanjira and keyboard will thus tune themselves on the sensational tone of a musical odyssey. From scholarly music of the glorious centuries to modern popular music of renewed inventiveness, India retains within it the sparkling grace of an inexhaustible culture!
