Sunforger
Sunforger est un groupe post-punk vénéré de Montréal. Un premier album sorti en 2023, des tournées aux États-Unis, des performances dans des festivals canadiens et une musique défiant les attentes leur ont valu un culte international. Une cadence circulaire dans des signatures rythmiques étranges et des accords impossibles à reproduire sous-tendent des éclats étroitement orchestrés de chansons émotives, distinctives et entraînantes.
Sunforger are venerated post-punks from Montreal, Quebec. A 2023 debut album, U.S. tours, Canadian festival performances, and expectation-defying music have garnered them an international cult following. Circular cadence in odd time signatures and unreplicatable tunings underlie tightly-orchestrated bursts of emotive, distinctive, and catchy song.

Les mines n’auront pas eu raison d’Autre part, diamant brut du post-rock et du shoegaze québécois dont les racines s’étendent de l’Abitibi à la Gaspésie. Enfouie dans les sous-sols montréalais depuis 2018, la formation fait paraître en 2022 une édition vinyle de son premier EP, une œuvre à la fois dissonante, complexe et mélodique. Le 24 mars 2023, le quatuor a présenté un deuxième EP composé de deux longues pièces instrumentales ainsi qu’une session live, toutes deux enregistrées au réputé Hotel2Tango studio de Montréal. 2024 est synonyme de nouveauté pour le groupe, avec la présentation de leur nouvel album ‘Le pire est à venir’.
The mines will not have been right on Autre part, rough diamond of post-rock and shoegaze from Quebec whose roots extend from Abitibi to Gaspésie. Buried in the Montreal basement since 2018, the band released a vinyl edition of their first EP in 2022, a work that is both dissonant, complex and melodic. On March 24, 2023, the quartet presented a second EP consisting of two long instrumental pieces and a live session, both recorded at the renowned Hotel2Tango studio in Montreal. 2024 is synonymous with novelty for the band, with the presentation of their new album ‘Le pire est à venir’.

Fondé dans les profondeurs de Montréal en 2016, Boar God est un trio rock tonitruant et dont le son combine l’énergie brute et ténébreuse des pionniers du hardcore et du post-punk, les guitares hypnotisantes et le mur de son du shoegaze et l’assaut percutant et écrasant du noise rock rappelant les groupes sur AmRep. Formed in the depths of Montreal in 2016, Boar God are an ear-shattering rock outfit whose sound combines the darkness and raw energy of early post-punk and hardcore, the swirling guitars and atmosphere of classic shoegaze, and the pounding, grinding assault of AmRep-style noise rock.
