PAPISH est le nouveau projet musical d’Osvaldo Felipe-Aguirre, chanteur, compositeur et producteur musical d’origine chilienne, basé à Montréal. À travers ses chansons combinant l’espagnol, l’anglais et le français, sa musique explore divers rythmes et textures entre le Tropical Latin Pop, l’Électronique, le Disco, la Cumbia electronica et plus. Papish, surnommé ainsi par son énergie éclectique, colorée et bête de scène, nous transporte à cette fusion musicale latine actuelle et croissante. Son premier single Alzar la voz sin reclamar (“HAUSSER LA VOIX SANS SE PLAINDRE”), lancé en octobre dernier, nous fait découvrir un aperçu d’un nouveau paysage sonore, représentant la nouvelle génération Latinx montréalaise à international.
PAPISH is the new musical project of Osvaldo Felipe-Aguirre, singer, composer and music producer of Chilean origin, based in Montreal. Through his songs combining Spanish, English and French, his music explores various rhythms and textures between Tropical Latin Pop, Electronic, Disco, Cumbia electronica and more. Papish, nicknamed for his eclectic, colorful, and energetic stage presence, transports us to this current and growing Latin musical fusion. His first single Alzar la voz sin reclamar (“RAISE YOUR VOICE WITHOUT COMPLAINING”), released last October, gives us a glimpse of a new sonic landscape, representing the new Montreal Latinx generation internationally.
