Auteure-compositrice-interprète, Amanda Marshall a sorti trois albums multiplatinés depuis 1995. Son premier album éponyme est l’un des 18 albums canadiens à avoir atteint le statut de Diamant au Canada et, à ce jour, il s’est vendu à plus de 6 millions d’exemplaires dans le monde.

En 1999, Marshall a sorti l’album Tuesday’s Child, dans lequel elle a collaboré avec Carole King et Eric Bazilian, deux grands noms de la chanson. Cet album 6 fois platine a permis à Marshall de faire une tournée mondiale en soutien à Whitney Houston, qui, après l’avoir écouté, a personnellement choisi Marshall pour assurer sa première partie et l’a invitée à partager la scène.

Tout a commencé en Nouvelle-Écosse à la fin de l’année 1969. Les frères Henman, David et Ritchie, se sont réunis avec leur cousin Jim Henman et un autre musicien, Myles Goodwyn, pour former un groupe appelé April Wine, un nom choisi simplement parce qu’il s’agissait de deux mots qui sonnaient bien ensemble. Quinze albums studio, trois albums live, de nombreuses compilations, un coffret et des milliers de concerts plus tard, April Wine est devenu extrêmement populaire au Canada, aux États-Unis et dans le monde entier.

It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply because they were two words that sounded good together. Fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts later April Wine has become enormously popular in Canada, the United States and throughout the world.

Charles Michael « Chuck » Schuldiner (13 mai 1967 – 13 décembre 2001) était un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et guitariste américain. Schuldiner était le chanteur, auteur-compositeur et guitariste du groupe Death, qu’il a fondé en 1983, initialement sous le nom de Mantas. Il a également enregistré en tant que guitariste et auteur-compositeur avec son autre groupe, Control Denied. Schuldiner est souvent considéré comme le « père du Death Metal ».

Death To All est présenté comme un « hommage » à Schuldiner, décédé il y a plus de 10 ans. Le groupe comprend d’anciens membres de Death, Bobby Koelble, Gene Hoglan et Steve DiGiorgio, ainsi que le guitariste/chanteur du groupe américain de prog metal Cynic, Max Phelps, qui reprend le rôle de Chuck Schuldiner.

Death To All is being billed as a “tribute” to Schuldiner, who passed away more than 10 years ago. The band, features former Death Members Bobby Koelble, Gene Hoglan and Steve DiGiorgio as well as guitarist/singer of the the US prog metal band Cynic – Max Phelps who takes over the part of Chuck Schuldiner.

Originaire de Dublin, Inhaler est un groupe de quatre musiciens qui se sont rencontrés alors qu’ils étaient encore à l’école.   Ils ont rapidement réalisé que leur amour pour les basses sales, les rythmes martelés et les mélodies contagieuses infusées dans des paysages sonores psychédéliques dépassait de loin leur intérêt pour le théorème de Pythagore, e=mc², Le Marchand de Venise ou Ulysse.   Leur avenir serait défini par le mystère, la magie et les plaisirs inconnus contenus dans les sillons des collections de vinyles de leurs parents plutôt que par les pages d’un quelconque manuel scolaire déchiré et en lambeaux.   Avec Robert Keating à la basse, Ryan McMahon à la batterie, Josh Jenkinson au lead et Elijah Hewson au chant et au rythme.

Hailing from Dublin, Inhaler are a four piece band who met while they were still at school.
They quickly realised their love of dirty bass lines, pounding rhythms and infectious melodies infused with psychedelic soundscapes far outweighed their interest for Pythagoras’s theorem, e=mc², The Merchant Of Venice or Ulysses.
Their future would be defined by the mystery, magic and unknown pleasures contained within the grooves of their parents vinyl collections rather than the pages of any torn and tattered textbook.
