SUUNS perform selections from their new album The Witness at PAN M 360. Following the mini-concert, fans are invited to interact with singer/songwriter Ben Shemie and guitarist/composer Joseph Yarmush, leaders of the internationally renowned Montreal band. This is the first SESSION 360 based on cultural mediation. PAN M 360 is not a medium in the traditional sense, but rather an increasingly interactive platform that promotes a more organic link between artists and their audience. Enjoy!
Directed by Bernard Hébert during confinement, this previously unreleased piece by Tim Brady is the second original audiovisual production from PAN M 360, under the banner of SESSIONS 360.
Composed during this strange period of forced human cohabitation with COVID-19, “Uncertain Impact” highlights the talents of four socially distanced virtuosos – Tim Brady, Jonathan Barriault, Simon Duchesne and Francis Brunet-Turcotte. “‘Uncertain Impact’”, says its composer, “is about moving forward and working together, finding harmony and resolving tension, in the face of uncertainty.”
In every nook and cranny of this little planet, we have to learn to live differently. For the months and years to come, we must now live alongside these microscopic, invisible, hostile organisms, we must carry on while learning new ways of behaving together. The PAN M 360 team wishes to contribute artistically in this context of uncertainty and upheaval: this is the first of our SESSIONS 360, courtesy of author, composer and performer Antoine Corriveau. With Simon Angell, Marianne Houle, Pietro Amato, Stéphane Bergeron, Marc-André Landry, Antoine performs a magnificent song of his own here: “Le nouveau vocabulaire”.
