At 22 years old, Roy Wood$ has accomplished more in the span of three years than most people do in a lifetime. Born Denzel Spencer in Brampton, Ontario, Wood$ first caught the attention of Drake in 2015, going on to be signed to the OVO SOUND label and debuting his first single “Drama” featuring Drake on OVO SOUND Radio in July of 2015. Wood$’ second single “Get You Good” was also premiered on OVO SOUND Radio in late summer of 2015.

Il a été l’un des pionniers de la musique du Maghreb à Montréal. Au fil des ans, il a exploré les rythmes ghiwane, sahraoui, berbère et gnawa, a ouvert le dialogue avec le rock, le reggae, le blues ou le jazz, sans jamais sacrifier l’authenticité. 2023 est l’année de parution de son nouvel album, «Al Maddloum (L’Opprimé)».

Mesnaoui was among the first musicians to introduce North African music to Montreal. Over the years, he has explored a variety of music styles, such as Ghiwane, Sahraoui, Berber and, of course, Gnawa, incorporating their rhythms into rock, blues and jazz without ever comprising their authenticity. His new album, Al Maddloum (L’Opprimé), was launched in 2023.

Le groupe naît à Marseille sur les cendres du mouvement punk au début des années 1980. Il est alors composé d’Alain Seghir, de Brigitte Balian et de Catherine Loy. Après le premier album du groupe, Beverley Jane Crew intègre l’équipe et, après quelques mois et un concert à quatre, Catherine Loy quitte le groupe. Martin Dupont disparaît en tant que groupe en 1987. Au cours de sa courte existence, Martin Dupont a assuré les premières parties de concerts de The Lotus Eaters, The Lounge Lizards et Siouxsie and the Banshees.

The group was born in Marseille on the ashes of the punk movement in the early 1980s. It was composed of Alain Seghir, Brigitte Balian and Catherine Loy. After the first album of the group, Beverley Jane Crew joined the team and, after a few months and a concert with four people, Catherine Loy left the group. Martin Dupont disappeared as a band in 1987. During its short existence, Martin Dupont opened for The Lotus Eaters, The Lounge Lizards and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Le groupe de “goblin metal” est formé en 2006 par le chanteur et claviériste Nicky Calonne et le guitariste Tim Lyakhovetskiy. Goblin Island, leur premier album est enregistré dans la cave de Tim Lyakhovetskiy et sort en 2002. Par la suite, le duo recrute de nouveaux membres afin de pouvoir monter sur scène. C’est avec l’album Stench qui paraît en 2011 que le groupe se fait réellement connaître, notamment grâce au clip de la chanson No One Survives qui a réussi à récolter plus de 1.5 million de vues en seulement trois mois.
