An innovative multimedia creation combining music and immersive video scenography, inspired by the work and destiny of Camille Claudel, an exceptional sculptor: this is what mezzo-soprano, photographer and designer Stéphanie Pothier and the Quatuor Molinari have come up with. En 1838, pour échapper aux ragots mondains, le couple improbable formé de George Sand et de Frédéric Chopin trouve refuge sur l’île de Majorque où les amants pensent pouvoir se consacrer à leur art : elle avec sa plume, lui au piano. Malheureusement, l’instrument commandé par Frédéric tarde à les rejoindre. Sous la pluie battante, alors que les vacances de rêve tombent à l’eau, leur relation est mise à rude épreuve.

Les lettres de Chopin est un conte musical de Denis Plante (La Bibliothèque-interdite) qui donne la parole à l’autrice George Sand (Gabrielle Maria Gourd). Accompagnée des plus belles pages du célèbre pianiste, la femme de lettres révèle avec humour et tendresse les secrets de sa relation bouleversante avec le jeune génie de la musique.

In 1838, to escape worldly gossip, the unlikely couple of George Sand and Frédéric Chopin took refuge on the island of Majorca, where the lovers thought they could devote themselves to their art: she with her pen, he at the piano. Unfortunately, the instrument Frédéric had ordered was late in arriving. In the pouring rain, as their dream vacation falls through, their relationship is put to the test.

Les lettres de Chopin is a musical tale by Denis Plante (La Bibliothèque-interdite), featuring the voice of author George Sand (Gabrielle Maria Gourd). Accompanied by the most beautiful pages by the famous pianist, the woman of letters reveals with humor and tenderness the secrets of her deeply moving relationship with the young musical genius.

Transfiguration est un concert-expérience qui met en scène la harpiste Valérie Milot et le violoncelliste Stéphane Tétreault dans un environnement numérique cinématographique envoûtant. Une expérience totale est proposée au spectateur, tant visuelle qu’auditive. À travers une mise en scène où la musique se retrouve transformée par le biais d’images projetées, la relation entre les deux musiciens évolue jusqu’à la transfiguration finale.

Transfiguration is a concert-experiment featuring harpist Valérie Milot and cellist Stéphane Tétreault in a spellbinding cinematic digital environment. A total experience is offered to the spectator, both visually and aurally. Through a staging in which the music is transformed by projected images, the relationship between the two musicians evolves until the final transfiguration.
