Dans le cadre de MNM, l‘ Orchestre symphonique de McGill présente une création du compositeur Jean Lesage et le concerto de Kalevi Aho, grand succès symphonique du 21e siècle qui offre un condensé de virtuosité et d’expressivité de la percussion, soulignant l’universalité multimillénaire de cet instrument qui explore ici le thème du rituel. L’inachevée de Schubert, quant à elle, nous emporte dans la frénésie de vie et les tourments ravageurs de ce compositeur qui pénètre l’âme avec douceur.
As part of MNM, the McGill Symphony Orchestra presents a creation by composer Jean Lesage and the concerto by Kalevi Aho, a great symphonic success of the 21st century, offers us a condensed version of the virtuosity and expressiveness of the percussion, underlining the multi-millennial universality of this instrument while exploring the theme of ritual. Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, takes us into the frenzy of life and the devastating torments of this composer who penetrates the soul with gentleness.
