Légendaire et loyal bassiste de Peter Gabriel et de King Crimson, la liste de ses collaborations se lit comme une histoire du rock et du jazz. Avec son frère Pete (Gil Evans, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Annie Lennox, Charles Mingus, Jaco Pastorius, Wayne Shorter), il forme un combo jazz que complètent le batteur Jeff Siegel (Ron Carter, Kenny Burrell, Jack DeJohnette, Mose Allison) et le saxophoniste Pat Labarbera (Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Bill Evans, Tony Bennet, Carlos Santana). C’est donc dire que c’est une chance exceptionnelle d’accueillir les Levin Brothers chez nous. Le groupe y présentera un mélange de compositions, de standards jazz et quelques surprises venues de leurs collaborations passées.

A legendary and loyal bassist for Peter Gabriel and King Crimson, his list of collaborations reads like a history of rock and jazz. Alongside his brother Pete (Gil Evans, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Annie Lennox, Charles Mingus, Jaco Pastorius, Wayne Shorter), he forms a jazz ensemble completed by drummer Jeff Siegel (Ron Carter, Kenny Burrell, Jack DeJohnette, Mose Allison) and saxophonist Pat LaBarbera (Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Bill Evans, Tony Bennett, Carlos Santana). This is truly an exceptional opportunity to welcome the Levin Brothers to our stage. The group will present a mix of original compositions, jazz standards, and a few surprises drawn from their past collaborations.
