Vincent Khouni

As the frontman of the Montreal garage rock band Double Date with Death (DDWD), Vincent Khouni has set out on a solo journey—like a message entrusted to the waves—to explore a more intimate world. With multi-instrumentalist Emmanuel Alias (ALIAS) on drums and as producer, he creates music that lies somewhere between the analog warmth of the late 1960s and contemporary experimentation. A visual artist in his spare time (collage, painting), Khouni enjoys playing with images, words, and their resonances. Following exhibitions in Montreal and Europe, as well as collaborations with various magazines, he has applied his sense of collage to songwriting, treating each track like a canvas to be painted. Equally at ease in French and English, Khouni continually enriches his sonic palette, crafting songs where texture and atmosphere take precedence over melody. In September 2023, he released 8:12pm, a debut album hailed by Le Devoir as “a dose of comfort.” On stage, he shares his world through memorable concerts (Coup de coeur francophone, Les Francouvertes, opening for Bon Enfant, Alex Burger, Bibi Club, Alphonse Bisaillon, LARAW, and Yuma Abe). In 2025, Vincent returned with Accident, a four-track EP crafted with Emmanuel Alias. Darker in tone, this project navigates between alternative pop and dreamy electro, tinged with hints of post-rock. Electronic rhythms blend with dreamy synths and textured guitars. Inspired by contemporaries such as Flavien Berger, James Blake, and Bon Iver, the singer-songwriter continues his musical odyssey. With Accident, Khouni draws a clear line between poetry and modernity, where emotions merge with the soundscape.

Thalia Rosaura

Singer-songwriter Québéco-Colombian artist Thalia Rosaura explores cultural and linguistic hybridity through a feminine, dance-driven, and unifying electropop sound. Inspired by the strong women in her family and by stories of migration, she reimagines Latin American song and contemporary R&B pop, in both French and Spanish.
