Solipsisme is a Quebec psyrock band whose subject matter takes listeners on a sensory, dreamlike journey. Made up of experienced musicians from the hardcore, post-punk and rock scenes, the quintet is now exploring brighter horizons, swapping their black sweaters for colorful shirts.

Solipsisme arrived in style in 2022, presenting a self-titled debut EP that captivated audiences with soaring, immersive tracks. Hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies transport listeners into a universe both familiar and strange, where the boundaries between the real and the imaginary are blurred. A moment of respite in this tumultuous world. This release earned them the honor of presenting their project at several festivals the following summer, including the Francos de Montréal and the Festival de musique émergente en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. With their captivating stage energy and creative musical approach, they are undoubtedly a band to keep an eye on for fans of psychedelic rock and alternative music in general.

Psychedelic rock band TEKE::TEKE is intimately familiar with duality, reality split between past and present, complex melodies and hushed interludes, intense action and persistent response. Having built their sound through the painstaking assembly of countless fragments of Japanese folk, psychedelia, Brazilian surf rock and other distant touchstones, the Montreal-based seven-piece have surrendered and learned by stretching out in floating experiments on the road. Currently releasing their second album, Hagata (due June 9 via Kill Rock Stars), TEKE::TEKE fully evolves in the in-between space, embracing the power of mythical couples and lived identities at once. Combining muscular intensity with clouded moments of meditation – like a world-class high jumper finding happiness at the apex of his leap – the band frames expressive compositions with regal flute, rich horns, ecstatic guitar and a percussive rhythm section.
