This Will Destroy You est un groupe texan qui compose de longues pièces instrumentales atmosphériques en utilisant une variété d’effets guitare et de changements dynamiques. Incorporant des influences comme le shoegaze, l’ambient et le doom metal, ils rejettent l’étiquette de “post-rock” qui leur est souvent attribuée. Apparue pour la première fois avec un EP démo bien accueilli en 2005, Young Mountain, le groupe a continué à faire évoluer son son à travers des sorties suivantes, dont l’album influencé par le metal Tunnel Blanket (2011) et le drone lourd Another Language (2014).

This Will Destroy You are a Texan group who compose lengthy, atmospheric instrumental pieces utilizing a variety of guitar effects and dynamic changes. Incorporating influences such as shoegaze, ambient, and doom metal, they reject the “post-rock” label that is usually applied to them. Initially appearing with a well-received 2005 demo EP, Young Mountain, the group continued to evolve their sound through subsequent releases including the metal-influenced Tunnel Blanket (2011) and the drone-heavy Another Language (2014).

The adventures of Les Petites Tounes continue with their 8th album, Faut toujours faire comme les grands (Faut toujours faire comme les grands). From the first listen, young audiences won’t be able to stop tapping their feet and clapping their hands to the rhythm of Quebec’s number one youth group. Their choruses are catchy; their melodies, engaging. True to form, musicians Carlos, Claude, Éric, and Martin deliver a creative, original, and colorful album that once again demonstrates their undeniable ability to charm young and old alike. For almost 30 years now, the group has been making an impact on young audiences, confirming their iconic status in the collective consciousness of Quebec. Francos de Montréal : Mairo à la scène Desjardins

Mairo a su imposer son style unique et son delivery addictif au sein de la sphère rap francophone. Après quelques apparitions en featuring (H JeuneCrack, Aamo…), un projet commun avec son compère suisse Slimka et le plébiscité premier album « Omar Chappier », l’artiste marque un retour très attendu avec un album entièrement produit par son frère jumeau Hôpital : LA FIEV.

Mairo has made a name for himself in the Francophone rap scene with his unique style and addictive delivery. Following a few standout guest appearances (with H JeuneCrack, Aamo, among others), a collaborative project with his Swiss counterpart Slimka, and his acclaimed debut album Omar Chappier, the artist makes a highly anticipated return with a new album—LA FIEV—entirely produced by his twin brother, Hôpital.

Blondshell au Théâtre Fairmount

La chanteuse et auteure-compositrice indie Blondshell allie une écriture intime et confessionnelle à un son alt-rock tranchant qui renforce l’intensité de ses émotions. Elle se fait remarquer en 2022 avec une série de singles, dont Olympus, qui cumule des millions d’écoutes avant la fin de l’année. Après avoir signé avec le label Partisan, Blondshell sort son premier album éponyme début 2023.

Indie singer/songwriter Blondshell balances intimate, confessional songwriting with a steely alt-rock sound that underpins her conveyed emotions. She emerged with a string of singles in 2022, beginning with “Olympus,” which collected millions of streams before the end of the year. After signing with the Partisan label, Blondshell released her eponymous debut full-length in early 2023.

Tous s’entendent pour dire qu’Ariane Roy, figure de proue de la désormais célèbre scène de Québec, récipiendaire du prix Révélation de l’année au Gala de l’ADISQ 2022, Révélation Radio-Canada 2021-2022, nommée à deux reprises aux prix JUNO, récipiendaire du Prix Félix-Leclerc en 2022, Prix Espoir FEQ et on en passe, est manifestement destinée à briller parmi nos plus grandes étoiles.
Suite à la parution d’un premier album, medium plaisir (2022), Ariane s’est fait un nom en brûlant les planches des quatre coins du Québec avec un spectacle bouillant, mettant en évidence les fulgurances qui la portent depuis ses tous débuts.
L’autrice-compositrice-interprète nous revient désormais avec Dogue, un deuxième album qui tranche avec ce qu’elle nous avait habitué. Coréalisé avec Félix Petit (Hubert Lenoir, Les Louanges, Bonnie Banane), Dogue montre les dents, oui pour sourire, mais aux dépends de qui ?
Peu nous importe puisque l’on ne peut résister à se coucher devant les crocs, espérant se joindre à la meute.

Osheaga : Cage the Elephant au parc Jean-Drapeau

En synthétisant habilement de nombreux marqueurs sonores du rock alternatif, Cage the Elephant a su s’assurer un succès durable auprès du grand public tout en gagnant l’estime de la critique. Originaires du Kentucky, les membres du groupe s’installent en Angleterre peu avant la sortie de leur premier album éponyme en 2008, qui leur vaut un succès transatlantique grâce au tube Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked. Au fil des années, ils deviennent des habitués des radios rock modernes américaines, avec deux albums certifiés or — Thank You Happy Birthday (2011) et Melophobia (2013) —, puis remportent un Grammy Award grâce à Tell Me I’m Pretty (2015), produit par Dan Auerbach (des Black Keys). Cage the Elephant réitère cet exploit en 2019 avec Social Cues, qui décroche également le Grammy du Meilleur album rock. Après une pause de cinq ans, le groupe fait son retour en mai 2024 avec un sixième album intitulé Neon Pill.

By cannily synthesizing many of the sonic signifiers of alternative rock, Cage the Elephant have earned continued mainstream success and critical acclaim. The Kentucky natives relocated to England just before the 2008 release of their eponymous debut, landing a transatlantic hit with “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked.” Over the coming years, they became a reliable fixture on American modern rock radio, with two albums going gold (2011’s Thank You Happy Birthday and 2013’s Melophobia), and a Grammy Award for their 2015 album, the Dan Auerbach-produced Tell Me I’m Pretty. Cage the Elephant repeated this success on 2019’s Social Cues, which also won a Best Rock Album Grammy. After a five-year gap, the band returned with their sixth album, Neon Pill, in May 2024.

Virée classique : Nature et passion – de Prague à Vérone au Complexe Desjardins

Smetana évoque le parcours de la Moldau, depuis sa source jusqu’à son majestueux passage à Prague, alors que Tchaïkovski conte avec dramatisme et passion les amours tragiques de Roméo et Juliette. Le tout est ponctué par les rythmes entrainants des Danses slaves de Dvořák. Lors de cette rencontre unique entre le Berliner Sibelius Orchester et l’Orchestre Philharmonia Mundi de Montréal, nature, amour et passion prennent vie en musique.

From its source to its majestic passage through Prague, Smetana described the course of the Vltava River, while Tchaikovsky dramatically recounted the passionate and tragic love of Romeo and Juliet. These works will be interspersed with the stirring rhythms of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances. For this unique encounter between the Berliner Sibelius Orchester and the Orchestre Philharmonia Mundi de Montréal, nature, love and passion come to life through music.

C’est pour répondre à un besoin de terrain de jeu musical libre et effervescent que le power trio zouz voit le jour en 2016. David Marchand (voix & guitare), Étienne Dupré (basse) et Francis Ledoux (drum) explorent l’imprévisible et se donnent l’espace nécessaire pour composer de manière instinctive, ouvrant la porte à un rock affranchi, riche et incisif. Les explorations faites sur le EP1 (2017) et le EP2 (2018), permettent à zouz de préciser ses propres codes, puis un premier album complet, Vertiges, sort en octobre 2021. Il prend tout son sens sur scène depuis sa parution, le groupe cumulant plus de 130 spectacles partout au Québec, en France et aux États-Unis. C’est chez Simone Records que le groupe amorce un nouveau chapitre qui prendra forme en octobre prochain avec la parution d’un deuxième album intense et abrasif, Jours de cendre, bénéficiant du regard extérieur d’Alexandre Martel à la coréalisation.

Formed in 2016, the power trio zouz emerged from a need for a free and vibrant musical playground. David Marchand (vocals & guitar), Étienne Dupré (bass), and Francis Ledoux (drums) embrace the unpredictable, giving themselves the space to compose instinctively — paving the way for a bold, rich, and incisive brand of rock. The explorations on EP1 (2017) and EP2 (2018) allowed zouz to define its own sonic codes, leading to the release of a full-length debut album, Vertiges, in October 2021. Since its release, the album has truly come to life on stage, with the band performing over 130 shows across Quebec, France, and the United States. Now signed to Simone Records, zouz is entering a new chapter with the upcoming release of their intense and abrasive second album, Jours de cendre, set to drop this October. The record benefits from the fresh perspective of co-producer Alexandre Martel.

Francos de Montréal : Malko à la scène Desjardins

À peine âgé de 23 ans, Malko s’inscrit déjà comme un des acteurs les plus prometteurs de la relève hip hop. S’il nomme Josman, Laylow et Stromae comme ses plus grandes influences, l’artiste écrit sa propre histoire – il développe un flair pour la mode, s’inspire des arts visuels et collabore avec des artistes musicaux de tous les horizons. Son esprit brille, prolifique dans sa création, ses textes se raffinent toujours davantage et son univers singulier se révèle dans chacune de ses présences.
À l’été 2023, Malko présente 30°, un trio aux influences afros. Co-écrit et co-réalisé par son partenaire créatif Willy Wonder et Hypnotic Beatz (Damso, SCH), le projet aide à solidifier le profil de Malko au Québec comme en France. En quelques semaines seulement, le titre phare MOTOMAMI devient la chanson la plus écoutée du catalogue du jeune artiste sur Spotify.
Quelques mois plus tard, Malko revient avec son premier EP en carrière, MAELSTRÖM, et devient le premier artiste francophone à être nommé Breakthrough Artist par Amazon Music Canada. Il retourne à Paris au printemps 2024 et connecte avec des réalisateurs tels RayDaPrince, Lucci et Bloody. Le jeune  artiste présentera deux nouveaux projets en 2024 : le 4-pack estival SAHARA en juillet et Émotionnellement indisponible à l’automne avec la présence de l’artiste Chanceko sur le titre Parapluie.

Only 23 years old, Malko is already establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in the hip-hop scene. While he cites Josman, Laylow, and Stromae as his biggest influences, the artist is writing his own story — developing a keen fashion sense, drawing inspiration from visual arts, and collaborating with musicians from diverse backgrounds. His creative mind shines through prolific output, increasingly refined lyrics, and a distinctive universe that reveals itself every time he takes the stage.
In summer 2023, Malko released 30°, a trio of tracks with Afro influences. Co-written and co-produced by his creative partner Willy Wonder and Hypnotic Beatz (known for working with Damso, SCH), the project helped solidify Malko’s profile in both Quebec and France. In just a few weeks, the lead track MOTOMAMI became the most streamed song in the young artist’s Spotify catalog.
A few months later, Malko returned with his debut EP MAELSTRÖM, becoming the first Francophone artist to be named Breakthrough Artist by Amazon Music Canada. He headed back to Paris in spring 2024, connecting with producers such as RayDaPrince, Lucci, and Bloody. The young artist is set to release two new projects in 2024: the summer 4-track SAHARA in July and Émotionnellement indisponible in the fall, featuring the artist Chanceko on the track Parapluie.

La Traversée est un concert exceptionnel réunissant sur scène quatre artistes talentueux venus de France et du Canada pour une création unique. En collaboration avec l’École nationale de la chanson, Les Francos de Montréal et Les Francofolies de La Rochelle, La Traversée est une rencontre artistique et professionnelle entre ces deux pays, visant à encourager des collaborations créatives et à explorer les différences culturelles et artistiques. Venz assister à un concert tout à fait unique !
VANILLE et SUPER PLAGE du Canada, ainsi que COLINE RIO et JAMES BAKER de la France, ont été sélectionné·e·s pour participer à La Traversée 2025 qui se tiendra le 18 juin sur la scène Spotify des Francos de Montréal et le 11 juillet au Théâtre Verdière – La Coursive dans le cadre des Francofolies de La Rochelle.

La Traversée is a special concert bringing together four talented artists from France and Canada for a unique creative collaboration. In partnership with the École nationale de la chanson, Les Francos de Montréal, and Les Francofolies de La Rochelle, La Traversée is an artistic and professional exchange between the two countries, aimed at fostering creative collaborations and exploring cultural and artistic differences. Come experience a truly one-of-a-kind concert!
VANILLE and SUPER PLAGE from Canada, along with COLINE RIO and JAMES BAKER from France, have been selected to take part in La Traversée 2025, which will take place on June 18 on the Spotify Stage at Les Francos de Montréal and on July 11 at Théâtre Verdière – La Coursive as part of Les Francofolies de La Rochelle.
