OFF Jazz : The Plastic Waste Band à Impro Montréal

Sat 14 Oct 2023 • 05:00 pm Jazz / Psych-Rock
Impro Montréal - Montréal 11,59$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

Inspired by the impending global environmental collapse, The Plastic Waste Band seeks to push the boundaries of what a jazz band can be. Their sound is born out of jazz and improvised music, but draws on various influences from psychedelic rock, fusion and beyond. Following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2017, they donated all proceeds from album sales to environmental conservation charities. Their second album, CRUSHED, is out on Montreal-based Florafone Records in September 2019, and their third, Revelations EP, in 2020.
