Mali Obomsawin est une bassiste et compositrice primée de la Première nation d’Odanak. Son premier album, Sweet Tooth, a été acclamé dans le monde entier et l’a propulsée comme étoile montante du jazz et visionnaire de la musique folk. Forte d’un riche bagage combinant la musique « roots » américaine, le rock et la musique improvisée, elle s’est produite aux festivals folk de Newport et de Philadelphie, en plus de fouler des scènes de renom aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Allemagne.
