Originaire du cœur des prairies canadiennes, Ponteix distille ses grooves hypnotiques, mêlant habilement la psyché-pop-électronique à la mélancolie du RnB et du indie rock. Sur scène, le projet fransaskois se présente en trio et délivre une expérience électrifiante, portant des paroles axées sur les racines de Mario Lepage, originaire du Hameau de St. Denis en Saskatchewan. Porté par les vents des plaines, Lepage s’est aventuré jusqu’à Montréal pour donner naissance au deuxième opus de Ponteix, Le canadien errant, Lancé le 6 février 2025.

Originating from the heart of the Canadian prairies, Ponteix distills its hypnotic grooves, skillfully blending psychedelic electronic pop with the melancholy of RnB and indie rock. On stage, the Fransaskois project is presented as a trio, delivering an electrifying experience with lyrics focused on the roots of Mario Lepage, originally from the village of St. Denis in Saskatchewan. Carried by the winds of the plains, Lepage ventured to Montreal to give birth to Ponteix’s second album, Le canadien errant, Released on February 6th, 2025.
