Festival International Nuits d’Afrique : Manamba Kanté à la scène Loto-Québec

Sun 20 Jul 2025 • 07:00 pm Africa / Soul
Scène Loto-Québec - Montréal Gratuit
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

“Daughter of one of the most famous West African griots and wife of Guinea’s new soul star, Manamba Kanté is above all an exceptional singer and a self-made woman” (Jeune Afrique, 2018). Yes, she is the daughter of Mory Kanté. Yes, she is married to Soul Bang’s. But that is certainly not what defines her success. In reality, Manamba Kanté is without a doubt the rising star of Manding music. Always determined to sing, she can rely on a voice that is as capable of being soft and intimate as it is of reaching great heights. Ranked among the ten finalists for the RFI Discoveries Awards in 2020, the Malinké griot woman moves with ease through West African traditions. She has just released her second album, Mousso.

CE SPECTACLE EST GRATUIT!
