Après avoir triomphé à Paris, New York, Madrid, la Scala de Milan… c’est à Lanaudière que s’achève la tournée The Fairy Queen de William Christie et Les Arts Florissants, qui nous entraînent dans le monde enchanteur de Purcell et Shakespeare grâce au concours des remarquables chanteurs du Jardin des Voix et du metteur en scène-chorégraphe Mourad Merzouki. Ce spectacle magique conjuguant chant et danse, rêve et réalité, illusion et fantaisie, conclura en apothéose un cycle de trois saisons au Festival avec Les Arts Florissants et leur chef fondateur.

After triumphing in Paris, New York, Madrid and Milan’s La Scala, William Christie and Les Arts Florissants’ tour of The Fairy Queen comes to a close in Lanaudière, where the remarkable singers of Le Jardin des Voix and director-choreographer Mourad Merzouki take us into the enchanting world of Purcell and Shakespeare. This magical show, combining song and dance, dream and reality, illusion and fantasy, brings to a climactic close a cycle of three seasons at the Festival with Les Arts Florissants and their founding conductor.
