Afin de souligner le 100e anniversaire de la mort de Théodore Dubois et les 20 ans de l’Ensemble vocal Vox Luminosa, le Festival Classica est heureux de vous offrir Les sept paroles du Christ, chef-d’œuvre absolu du maître dans son ultime version pour chœur, orchestre et solistes. En complément de programme, le chef et compositeur Claudel Callender vous propose entre autres choses des œuvres de César Franck, dont le fameux Panis Angelicus et le Psaume 150, le Cantique de Jean Racine de Gabriel Fauré, ainsi que quelques œuvres inédites du directeur de l’ensemble vocal.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Théodore Dubois and the 20th anniversary of the Ensemble vocal Vox Luminosa, Festival Classica is delighted to present Les sept paroles du Christ, the master’s absolute masterpiece in its ultimate version for choir, orchestra and soloists. Complementing the program, conductor and composer Claudel Callender offers works by César Franck, including the famous Panis Angelicus and Psaume 150, Gabriel Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, and a number of previously unpublished works by the vocal ensemble’s director.
