Connu à l’origine sous le nom de Tokyo, Glass Tiger s’est formé à Newmarket, en Ontario, en 1981 et a passé plusieurs années à se faire les dents sur la scène des bars de l’époque.

Leur premier album, The Thin Red Line, est rapidement devenu une force imparable, grimpant en flèche dans les palmarès pour devenir le premier album le plus rapidement vendu de l’histoire du Canada. En tête de liste, la chanson Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone), désormais et à jamais emblématique, qui est gravée dans le tissu même de l’histoire de la musique populaire.

Originally known as Tokyo, Glass Tiger formed in Newmarket, Ontario in 1981 and spent several years cutting their teeth in the bar scene of the day.

Their debut album, The Thin Red Line, quickly became an unstoppable force, rocketing up the charts to become the fastest selling debut in Canadian history. Leading the charge, was the now-and-forever iconic, Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone), a song that is etched into the very fabric of popular music’s history.
