Fondé en Novembre 2002, par les co-fondateurs Ralph Condé et Ronald Marchand, Ban-Jo est un groupe musical formé de fougueux et talentueux instrumentistes.
En majorité Afro-Québécois et provenant d’un peu partout de l’industrie de la musique Antillaise, Ban-Jo réuni des professionnels de l’industrie musicale.
La couleur musicale du groupe est vraiment spéciale! C’est un exceptionnel mélange de rythmes alliant le Compas, le Soukous, le Zouk, la musique folklorique, le hip-hop et sans oublier une touche de R&B et de jazz. La puissance que donnent ces différentes touches musicales au Compas original, lui apporte aussi une nouvelle dimension.
A travers des textes actuels qui parlent d’amour et de passion, l’objectif du Groupe Ban-Jo est de faire découvrir une tendance de la nouvelle génération Compas. Une musique qui reflète le style et l’histoire des différentes cultures qui ont touchées le compas et qui le place aujourd’hui au niveau international.

Mostly Afro-Québécois and coming from all over the Caribbean music industry, Ban-Jo brings together professionals from the music industry.
