Trop Belle
Trop Belle est un groupe de punk/new wave déjanté, proposant une critique subversive et ironique du show business. Menée par Lolita Trop Belle, une diva à la beauté incroyable et qui chante à la française pour percer à l’international, la formation plonge son public dans un univers participatif, empruntant des codes tant bien au théâtre qu’à l’humour. À quelque part entre les B52’s et le Rocky Horror Picture Show, le quintette aborde des sujets parfois tabous, parfois absurdes, à l’aide d’un ton cathartique sur des sonorités punk.
Trop Belle is a quirky punk/new wave band offering a subversive and ironic critique of the show business. Led by Lolita Trop Belle, a diva with incredible beauty who sings in French to break through internationally, the band immerses its audience in a participatory universe, borrowing elements from both theater and humor. Somewhere between the B52’s and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the quintet tackles topics that are sometimes taboo, sometimes absurd, using a cathartic tone set to punk sounds.
Larynx
Fidèle à lui-même, Larynx est de retour avec un nouvel album tout droit sorti d’un espace-temps décalé où se côtoient irrévérence, créativité et absurde. Le multi-instrumentiste propose un rock inqualifiable, décidément champ-gauche, qui oscille d’un genre à l’autre sans crier gare. Parfois psych, country ou même garage, l’univers musical de Larynx n’a aucune limite, bien qu’on puisse y naviguer facilement en raison de son songwriting efficace et singulier.
True to himself, Larynx is back with a new album straight from an out-of-sync space-time where irreverence, creativity, and absurdity coexist. The multi-instrumentalist offers an undefinable rock sound, decidedly left-field, shifting from one genre to another without warning. Sometimes psychedelic, country, or even garage, Larynx’s musical universe knows no bounds, although it’s easy to navigate due to his effective and unique songwriting.
