Largement reconnue comme l’une des principales ambassadrices de la techno dans le monde et comme une habituée des DJ booths les plus prestigieux, Deborah a la capacité unique de transfixier les foules avec ses sets chargés d’électricité et techniquement nuancés, fusionnant la techno dure avec des grooves minimaux et des paysages sonores mélodiques, avec un effet absorbant.

Oden & Fatzo est un trio de musique électronique français se produisant uniquement en Live. Disposant d’une palette sonore très riche, leur univers se distingue par un mélange de beat House uptempo, de Solar minimal, d’Electro breakbeat et de UK garage.

Principalement inspiré par le funk, le jazz et le hip-hop, leur projet est riche en influences diverses qui leur ont permis de signer sur des labels comme Ministry of Sound, Moscow Rec, Salty Nuts, Locus, Hoarder ou Hedzup.

Oden & Fatzo is a French electronic music trio performing only live. With a very rich sound palette, their universe is distinguished by a mix of uptempo beat House, Solar minimal, Electro breakbeat and UK garage.

Omar S

Né et élevé dans le quartier de Conant Gardens à Détroit, Omar S (de son vrai nom Alexander Omar Smith) est connu pour son approche brute et dépouillée de la création, de la diffusion et du marketing de sa musique. Sa production énigmatique et prolifique a fait de lui une légende locale à la renommée internationale.

Born and raised in the Conant Gardens neighborhood of Detroit, Omar S (real name Alexander Omar Smith) is noted for his raw, stripped-back approach to both creating, releasing, and marketing his music. His enigmatic and prolific output has cemented him as a local legend with international prominence.

After years in Montréal DJing, putting on events, and releasing records with 00:AM, Farren Laen moved to NYC in 2019. There he began Laen Disc, a modest home for his creations to make their way into the world. Built for the dancefloor, when and wherever you may be able to find one.

Debbie Doe

Originaire de Montréal, Debbie Doe est spécialiste en production de musique électronique et en conception sonore 3D. Poursuivant des études en électroacoustique à l’Université Concordia et s’inspirant d’autre part du théâtre et de la notion de jeu, sa musique endosse une myriade de rôles où percussions spacieuses rencontrent échantillons atypiques. 

Montréal-born Debbie Doe specializes in electronic music production and 3D sound design. Having studied electroacoustics at Concordia University and taking inspiration from theatre and the notion of play, their music takes on a myriad of roles where spacious percussions meet unusual samples.

With the reopening of the borders between Canada and the United States, Piknic Electronik can now welcome American artists: the headliner on Saturday, August 21 is Felix da Housecat (real name: Felix Stallings), 48 years old, a reference in house music, a famous style born in Chicago, where our man grew up and surfed on the second wave of house music, since the 90s. He is also known under the pseudonyms Thee Maddkatt Courtship, Aphrohead and Sharkimaxx, and for his label Radikal Fear Rec

Hoopalaï: 7:30pm, 2:30pm, Videotron stage

Hoopalaï is composed of veteran house musicians Lebaron & Pfreud (François Lebaron and Frédéric Laurier). Their first weapons were sharpened in the 90s. They roll their hump since then, here they are again on the menu of a raised program of house diversity.

Mkeiser is another Quebec producer and DJ with a passion for house music. We don’t know much about him… let’s leave it to his music to introduce him.

The Tunisian artist Underher applies himself to hybridize house and bass music with indie pop and dream pop.

Poe is a Quebec producer at the confluence of indie pop and melodic electro involving the human voice and reconstructing the song form.

Montreal producer and DJ Manal Fikri, aka 2ndFikri, is into deep house and unleashes her Sunday arsenal.

Montrealers A-Rock and Shaydakiss have been working in tandem for a decade now, and their participation at Igloofest can be seen since 2011. They draw from house, techno, funk and disco, the biggest electronic families are once again gathered for a choice menu at Piknic.

Artist living in Griffintown. Pat Boogie does house, afro-house, soul, instrumental hip hop, eminently afro-montreal mix!

Taima, 6 PM, Vidéotron stage

The Montreal producer and DJ is obviously addicted to instrumental hip hop, to which she adds her own spices in the slow cooker.

Jacques Greene, 8:30 PM & 3h30PM, Piknic stage

A key figure in Canadian electro since the end of the decade 2000, Jacques Greene has acquired an international reputation, we’re talking about a perennial career and here’s the next chapter !

Jason Voltaire, aka Martyn Bootyspoon, is a Montréal-based interested by rejuvenating ghettohouse among other subgenres in electronic music.

From Calgary Katie Lee aka Eejingmi addresses the questions of identity and musical genres.

Kris Tin, 8:30PM, Musée stage

Montreal producer and Beirut native Kris Tin could become a must in the national electro scene. A brilliant technoid designer, she is not the headliner of this museum scene by chance.
