Kids Return, c’est d’abord une grande histoire d’amitié depuis l’enfance entre Adrien Rozé et Clément Savoye. C’est entre leur petit studio parisien et une maison suspendue entre les montagnes des Pyrénées que voient le jour leurs morceaux, orchestrés ensuite par un quatuor à cordes à la campagne. De ce voyage est née une musique onirique et sensorielle, un cri d’appel au rêve. Une musique qui prend ancrage hors du temps.
Kids Return is first and foremost a great story of friendship between Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye. It is between their small Parisian studio and a house suspended between the mountains of the Pyrenees that their pieces are born, orchestrated by a string quartet in the countryside. From this journey is born a dreamlike and sensory music, a cry for a dream. A music that takes root outside of time.

L’album Djim Radé est enregistré entre N’Djaména, Toulouse, Yaoundé puis la postproduction à Milan au Studio Pachamama de Roberto Arzuffi sous la direction artistique de Fabrizio Colombo. Cet album se veut aussi panafricain et rassembleur car on peut noter la participation de plusieurs artistes africains. Djim Radé, musicien-auteur-compositeur-interprète montréalais-tchadien [fait son] lancement dans le cadre du mois de l’Histoire des Noirs, une soirée haute en célébration a été pensée pour faire rayonner la musique de la diaspora de musicien.ne.s afro-descendant.e.s au Québec. Lors de la première partie, un rassemblement festif de musicien.ne.s afrodescent.e.s du Québec pour venir célébrer avec moi sur scène.

This album is also pan-African and unifying because we can note the participation of several African artists. Djim Radé, a Montreal-Chadian musician-singer-songwriter, is launching his album as part of Black History Month, an evening of celebration designed to showcase the music of the Afro-descendant diaspora in Quebec. During the first part, a festive gathering of Afro-descendant musicians from Quebec to come celebrate with me on stage.

Yoo Doo Right au Ministère
Le trio de rock expérimental Yoo Doo Right (Montréal, CA) marie notes de guitare mélodiques et bruyantes, trames de synthétiseurs trafiqués, lignes de basse étoffées et déchaînements percussifs calculés, créant un puissant mur de son. Dans son approche expérimentale, le groupe réunit habilement des éléments du shoegaze, du post-rock et du psychédélisme, et érige un son qui s’apparente à celui d’un « accident de la route au ralenti ».
Experimental rock trio Yoo Doo Right (Montreal, CA) combines melodic and noisy guitar notes, doctored synthesizer patterns, fleshed-out bass lines and calculated percussive outbursts to create a powerful wall of sound. In their experimental approach, the band skillfully combines elements of shoegaze, post-rock, and psychedelia, and builds a sound that is akin to a “slow-motion traffic accident.
