Should Tanya Tagaq Gillis be considered the Inuk artist par excellence of this concluding decade? Ask the question&#8230; Throat singing, contemporary jazz, free improvisation, noise, electroacoustics, hardcore, all these aesthetics are integrated here. An exceptional artist, a shamaness, a woman of instinct and of vision, Tagaq has brought together excellent musicians (Jesse Zubot and Jean Martin) to create this opus that earned her a Polaris Prize.
