Inspired by the apocalyptic and Afro-futurist works of schizophrenic outsider artist Royal Robertson (1936-1997), <em>The Age of Adz<\/em> remains an absolute masterpiece of composition in the service of the songwriting form, achieving the perfect balance between songcraft, composition and arrangements.
