Despite the preponderance of electronic sounds, guitars are also well represented. If <em>Somebody&#8217;s Knocking <\/em>remains essentially an \u201calternative\u201d record as one would have imagined it a few years ago, there\u2019s surely some characteristically sinister Lanegan moments and two or three more abrasive songs, such as \u201cDisbelief Suspension\u201d (very Gun Club) or the contagious \u201cLetter Never Sent\u201d with its Sisters of Mercy touch.
