His signature is immediately recognizable by the rich and vaporous sound layers he superimposes and shreds, the electric guitar chords he passes through all manner of filters, and his saturation effects, sometimes so intense that, as with Basinski&#8217;s <em>Disintegration Loops<\/em> series, the music disappears and dissolves, only to re-emerge more sonorous and iridescent. Here he returns to the spirit of <em>Endless Summer<\/em>, his most acclaimed record. The title of the first piece (\u201cIn My Room\u201d) is another reference to the Beach Boys.
