For the first time in its 33-year history, the American label Sub Pop signed a French-speaking group. This is no coincidence. Rosaries of guitar motifs speckled with synthesizers, aerial vocals, solidly hammered-out beats, and a tension between rock roughness and harmonic placidity, all this is part of a very rich musical culture.
