During that time, the quintet put aside the rock \u2019n\u2019 roll lifestyle, but didn\u2019t lose their sense of humour or their capacity for catchy melodies. Since their debut in 2007, Dance Laury Dance have followed in the footsteps of AC\/DC and Mot\u00f6rhead (check \u201cMort \u00e0 la gamique\u201d and \u201cLe magicien\u201d). This is even more evident on the 12 tracks of <em>C\u2019est \u00e7a<\/em>, especially through guitarist Philippe Lemire\u2019s ridiculously catchy solos\u00a0 (\u201cDemi Smoke\u201d, \u201cB.R.U.H.\u201d). As long as we\u2019re making comparisons, let\u2019s bring in The Darkness and Airbourne (also very influenced by AC\/DC) for the crazy side of the lyrics and the punk attitude of the musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For their first full-length album since <em>Hellalujah<\/em> (2014), Dance Laury Dance have chosen French to tell their party stories and other nonsensical tales. The song \u201cN\u00e9 pour parde\u201d, a tribute to Mot\u00f6rhead singer Lemmy Kilmister and his song \u201cBorn to Lose\u201d from <em>The W\u00f6rld Is Yours<\/em> (2010), is a very good example of a winning combination for the band. On the one hand, the lyrics make you smile and on the other, the music makes you nod your head.
