Unlike full microtonality, just intonation offers a kind of &#8216;calm&#8217; harmonic floating, which often allows for the creation of peaceful atmospheres and, in this case, quite ethereal and introspective ones. It is barely if, occasionally, a bubbling activity manifests itself. In general, therefore, the saxophones (and the glissotar, a &#8220;saxophone&#8221; equipped with a rubber strap that allows it to &#8220;slide&#8221; between notes) intertwine their sounds and partially microtonal harmonies in a rather pleasant collective ecumenism.
