Maude Fortier studied at McGill and the expertise inherited from excellent mentors such as R\u00e9mi Bolduc, Frank Lozano, and Jean-Michel Pilc, among others. We really appreciate the young lady&#8217;s technical ease, but also a clear, refined sound, pleasant in all registers while showing a welcome smoothness in the upper third. <em>Echoes of Change<\/em> is a program of eight beautiful original compositions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F986493993862285%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=267&#038;t=0\" width=\"267\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Maude Fortier&#8217;s pen immerses music lovers in often morning-like atmospheres, carried by a smiling optimism and a satisfied gaze on the possibilities ahead. Two more introspective tracks, tinged with harmonic modernity drawing from the scholarly roots of written music, come to balance a highly cohesive set. One can already sense a mature vision in the young artist.
