The artist&#8217;s work is as much contemporary avant-garde (classical) as experimental pop (under the name Syngja). On the <em>Morphic Subduction<\/em> EP, it&#8217;s the electro-acoustic cross between contemporary music, ambient and experimental electronics that comes to the fore. <em>\u2018\u2019<\/em>Jami sculpts immersive textures that evoke tectonic movements, inner turbulence and the elasticity of sound\u2019,\u2019 as it is described in the notes We are effectively plunged into a moving, transmorphic maelstrom of acoustic sounds textured by digital manipulation.
