It\u2019s a 29-minute genre gymnastic routine that makes you want to crowd surf through a wormhole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The album kicks off with the blistering self-titled opener that begins synthy and jumps into a more punk burner. A pop punk bar brawl and then made up over smoothies. With all the production tricks, it doesn&#8217;t hit quite as hard as their live show. Right after, \u201cSOLE\u201d barrels in with a heavy groove that feels like you&#8217;re moshing underwater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Turnstile\u2019s not-so-secret weapon is their total refusal to be one thing. \u201cDULL\u201d clocks in under 2 minutes seconds but manages to pack in more hooks than most indie bands muster in a full LP. Then we have a 6:44 minute &#8220;LOOK OUT FOR ME.&#8221; Brendan Yates sounds like he\u2019s shouting down a thunderstorm while the band lays down riffs that ricochet like pinballs. It\u2019s manic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Never Enough<\/em> isn\u2019t here to reinvent Turnstile. It\u2019s here to remind you that punk can be joyful, weird, tender, and still absolutely rip your face off. It\u2019s not quite pop punk. Not quite pop. Not quite reality. And honestly?
