A classic trio, then, playing in the court of the great examples of the genre, in a cool way but with a certain drive. A few pretty ballads balance the stroll in a subdued light, always with an impeccable sense of stimulating and refined discourse. You won&#8217;t find the astonishment of truly outstanding albums here, but you&#8217;ll feel the full extent of a know-how that is both vast and intimately shared with delicate emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Five of the seven tracks are Roberts&#8217; own compositions, the other two standards (<em>My Ship<\/em> and and <em>You Do Something to Me<\/em>). The originals have the quality of standards of the trio&#8217;s great art, and the standards have enough spontaneity that Roberts&#8217; touch seems to have brought them to life.
