Rather, it is an approach inherited from the wandering singer, hence the term <em>trova <\/em>derived from the French troubadour. A <em>trova <\/em>artist may use a variety of music from the Cuban terroir, such as <em>son <\/em>or <em>guaracha<\/em>, but also, in <em>nueva trova<\/em>, folk, jazz, rock and so on. Silvio Rodriguez is one of the great exponents of <em>trova<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ombligo\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JByRrJDOGe0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here in Montreal, Julian Gutierrez Vinardell is an ambassador for this discipline, which seeks simple, direct contact with the public through engaging melodies and, in the case of this album <em>De Ti Lo Quiero Todo<\/em>, rich orchestrations. Vinardell&#8217;s vocals are supported by a full-sized big band and, on occasion, a string quartet.
