The sinister promise growled robotically by drummer Nick Mason at the time \u2013 &#8220;One of these days, I&#8217;ll cut you into little pieces&#8221; \u2013 is replaced here by an &#8220;ah-ah&#8221; vocal harmony, which is definitely much nicer.\u00a0We continue with \u201cThere Was a Friend (part 2)\u201d, on which Dany shares some important information, like, \u201c\u00c7a beef le jambon \/ Chicken pas pire\u201d, and \u201c\u00c7a drive le bacon \/ Sur un moyen temps\u201d. Then comes ruthless riffage in the heartbreaking \u201c Tu me manques \u201d, and in \u201cPulperie\u201d, an examination of Dany&#8217;s mycological phobias. No humour in the elegiac <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToo Late\u201d, a throwback to the melancholy, pre-<em>Full Face<\/em> Dany. \u201cPlancher\u201d is an incisive punk-blues lament with sludge sauce. The tempo is faster in \u201cLe li\u00e8vre\u201d, a hallucinogenic song over which hovers the spirit of Daniel Boucher. The last nine minutes of the album are occupied by \u201cMaman\u201d, whose effects echo the echoes of \u201cEchoes\u201d, another monument on the aforementioned <em>Meddle<\/em> by Pink Floyd.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Placard in a man in charge here: in addition to writing everything, he has produced this lysergic opus heated by tube amps.
