This album dedicated to Italian works of the 17th century includes works by Castello Legrenzi, Grillo, and several others. These composers were considered innovative at the time, and it\u2019s easy to see why. Baroque musical conventions are very present, but the interpretation given to these pieces is like a breath of fresh air. We have a lot of fun listening to this album, and we discover just as much. The tracks flow together harmoniously and offer a wide variety of ambiance and sound textures. All of the works offered are instrumental, but the recorder and the violin interact, even sing, with great virtuosity.
