This document is the culmination of DePlume&#8217;s lengthy sessions at London&#8217;s Total Refreshment Centre, which attracts some of Britain&#8217;s most daring musicians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Greek Honey Slick\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q3rbjgY7vsc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">DePlume\u2019s tenor saxophone is the silver cord guiding us through a landscape that is as unpredictable as it is engaging. His saxophone work is characterised by a unique breathwork that imparts a haunting and resonant quality to his sound. At times, it almost seems to transcend its brass origins, resembling the mournful, singing tremolo of a cello. This distinctive sound becomes a signature element throughout the album, lending it a distinctive and memorable quality. While its avant-garde inclinations and genre-blurring tendencies are not for everyone, for those willing to embark on this musical journey with Mr. DePlume, the rewards are plentiful.
