{"id":143049,"date":"2025-08-19T15:12:29","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T19:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/panm360.com\/?post_type=quoi_voir&#038;p=143049"},"modified":"2025-08-19T15:12:32","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T19:12:32","slug":"atsuko-chiba-climax-therapy","status":"publish","type":"quoi_voir","link":"https:\/\/panm360.com\/en\/quoi-voir-360\/atsuko-chiba-climax-therapy\/","title":{"rendered":"Atsuko Chiba &#8211; Climax Therapy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Following up on the absolutely unhinged, post-hardcore single &#8220;Pope&#8217;s Cocaine,&#8221; which revealed a new shade of Montreal&#8217;s experimental rockers, Atsuko Chiba, the boys are back with the next single, &#8220;Climax Therapy.&#8221; This one is much more of a slow burn, starting with a minor desert-type lead as lead vocalist and guitar player Karim Lahkdar croons about deception, crippling fear, and a need for love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The song eventually explodes into a messed-up motoric prog rock (peak Atsuko Chiba) as the band throws out a number of labyrinthian melodies to make your head spin and drops into a pit of webbing and noise. We&#8217;ve got a psychedelic, mutating visualizer for your eyes (I feel like I&#8217;m watching <em>Videodrome<\/em> or something) as you sing along or just sit back and witness the madness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Atsuko Chiba - Climax Therapy [Official Video]\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vPdZ7PA2U1g?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
