{"id":114353,"date":"2024-01-30T13:32:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-30T18:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/panm360.com\/?post_type=quoi_voir&#038;p=114353"},"modified":"2024-01-29T16:48:03","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T21:48:03","slug":"sunglaciers-cursed","status":"publish","type":"quoi_voir","link":"https:\/\/panm360.com\/en\/quoi-voir-360\/sunglaciers-cursed\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunglaciers &#8211; Cursed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Cursed&#8221; is a new single from Calgary&#8217;s alternative post-punks, Sunglaciers, announcing their full-length follow-up to 2022&#8217;s <em><strong>Subterranea<\/strong><\/em> album, <em><strong>Regular Nature <\/strong><\/em>(Out on March 29th via Mothland.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Caught somewhere in between a dream and astral projection, this track might be Sunglaciers at their most melancholic, a song about longing for something lost and being plagued by only fleeting memories. The rhythmic bass and tumbling synth leave room for the hazy vocals and quiet deluge of fuzzy guitars. The music video, by Sunglaciers Evan Resnik, follows a woman (Denice Olivares) being pulled out of and plunged into the waking and sleeping world. Though the music is light and airy, there&#8217;s still something unnerving about the landscape shifting form\u2014kind of something from Christopher Nolan&#8217;s <em>Inception<\/em>. <em><strong>Subterranea<\/strong><\/em> is a tough album to follow, but based on our initial impressions it&#8217;s the perfect passing of the sonic torch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sunglaciers \/\/ Cursed [Official Video]\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QpBBAb4uBOw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Cursed&#8221; is a new single from Calgary&#8217;s alternative post-punks, Sunglaciers, announcing their full-length follow-up to 2022&#8217;s Subterranea album, Regular Nature (Out on March 29th via Mothland.)
