As the founder of Creole Month and the founding president of the International Committee for the Promotion of Creole and Literacy (KEPKAA), he provided us with a midpoint review of the activities from the first two weeks of October while highlighting upcoming events not to be missed. This lover of literature, music, and theater is a veritable walking encyclopedia. During our interview, we discussed several topics, such as the history of Haiti through its key figures: Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines. In fact, the evening of Saturday, October 17, will pay tribute to Dessalines with a performance featuring the virtuoso pianist David Bontemps.
