That\u2019s why we\u2019ve selected three daily recommendations from Pop MTL\u2019s head programmer and founder, Dan Seligman. Here are his Friday September 25th three picks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/popmontreal.com\/artists\/infinite-coles\"><strong>Infinite Coles, Rialto Hall, 7:30 PM<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"846\" height=\"457\" src=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Infinite-Coles-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Infinite-Coles-2.jpg 846w, https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Infinite-Coles-2-768x415.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 846px) 100vw, 846px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">There&#8217;s some good ones here on Friday. I start with Infinite Coles at Rialto. We&#8217;re doing like a drag ball, and to start off the night, we&#8217;re bringing in Infinite Coles, who is a multidisciplinary queer rapper, he kind of blends hip hop and house and is very innovative. And he happens to be Ghostface Killah&#8217;s son. Nothing to do with Wu-Tang Clan, macho, you know, like, I don&#8217;t think they have the greatest relationship. But actually, he\u2019s a really great rapper like his father, but kind of on a different, different tip. Of course. Infinite Coles considers himself as a \u201csonic chameleon,\u201d he blends house, hip-hop, and soul in a way to challenge genre and gender conventions. Following the&nbsp; 2021 EP Destiny, Coles will release his debut album, SweetFaceKillah, on December 5.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/popmontreal.com\/artists\/jayahadadream\"><strong>JayaHadADream, Le Minist\u00e8re, 8PM<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"565\" height=\"423\" src=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/JayaHadADream.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165337\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">My second pick on Friday is a discovery I made at South by Southwest this year. Jamaican-Irish rapper JayaHadADream, kind of throwback old school 90s hip hop \/ grime style, like very interesting lyrical flow. Very cool! And she&#8217;s played like a bunch of the bigger festivals in the UK and just last week was featured in Colors. You know, they are on YouTube and Instagram and they always pick these really interesting artists to do these songs. So she was just featured. And, yeah, I saw her at South by Southwest\u2026&nbsp; The festival was a little underwhelming this year in terms of the musical programming and like they changed their format a little this year. So I was kind of disappointed overall because I usually will see quite a few interesting new things. But JayaHadADream was definitely one of the top things. So&nbsp; I got in touch with her. Yeah, it&#8217;s kind of&nbsp; an underground hip hop bill. On this same program, there will be Kamilou,&nbsp; a R\u00e9v\u00e9lation Radio Canada revelation this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/popmontreal.com\/fr\/artistes\/tachie-menson\">Tachie Menson, L&#8217;Esco, 8:30PM<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"915\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Tachie-Menson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165342\" srcset=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Tachie-Menson.jpg 915w, https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Tachie-Menson-768x530.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 915px) 100vw, 915px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">So the third one is Montreal&#8217;s Tachie Menson. I think she&#8217;s like originally from London and now based in Montreal after living in New York. She kind of has an international style like she&#8217;s a really interesting artist and very&nbsp; unknown. I don&#8217;t know how old she is. It&#8217;s kind of like 70. Like, kind of soul singer songwriter. Kind of&nbsp; eclectic pop music. She\u2019s kind of self-taught like DIY, R&amp;B, and soul music. Self-taught guitarist but she also studied classical piano in university, she\u2019s actually pursuing a masters degree in Sound Recording.
