She is also a producer, writer, and a strong advocate for opera in Canada. In 2012, she founded the company Opera 5, where she remains the executive director to this day. The company\u2019s mission is to introduce audiences to famous works, forgotten gems, while promoting new creations and fostering emerging Canadian artists.<br>As part of Op\u00e9r\u2019actuel\u2014the musical event that has evolved into a biennial festival organized by the company Chants libre\u2014she will present a musical performance of her opera Come Closer on September 22 at Salle Paul-Buissonneau.
