From Toronto, she settled in Montreal, then married (actually, she&#8217;s a boyfriend) and moved to Limoilou, where she still lives. Hence this collection of French-language songs from Quebec and Canada, where she interprets Gilles Vigneault, Damien Robitaille, Diane Tell, Daniel B\u00e9langer, Serge Fiori, Jim Corcoran, Michel Rivard, Anne-Sophie Dor\u00e9 Coulombe, and \u00c9dith Butler. Only Charles Trenet is an exception to this repertoire of North American French songs. Released on her independent label, Empress Music Group, the album was recorded in Montreal at Hublot and PM studios. The project was co-produced with pianist and arranger Fran\u00e7ois Richard, and features 11 interpretations infused with jazz, folk, bossa nova, bluegrass, and more.
