The dramatic plot of <em>La fille aux cheveux de lin<\/em> takes us to Paris, \ufb01n the 19th century, in the midst of cultural ferment. We find ourselves on the Butte Montmartre, in a studio where Rose is helping her painter brother restore a painting, until the sudden arrival of a mysterious girl with flaxen hair.
