But even in an early evening spot on Osheaga\u2019s mainstage, Rhian Teasdale and the band tease out a raucous crowd with their sultry, low-lit thrash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Teasdale is impossible to look away from, equal parts writhing and levitating, her polite singing voice soaring massively overhead. The kick drum punches us in the throat, and the grinding, hypnotic guitars distort and phase with every hit. Teasdale drops to her knees for \u201cCPR,\u201d her poison-candy words diffused through a red telephone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/260731-WetLeg-Tim-Snow-5-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-162843\" srcset=\"https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/260731-WetLeg-Tim-Snow-5-scaled.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/260731-WetLeg-Tim-Snow-5-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/260731-WetLeg-Tim-Snow-5-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/panm360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/260731-WetLeg-Tim-Snow-5-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">On the calmer songs, \u201cliquidize,\u201d or \u201cdavina mccall,\u201d she searches faces in the crowd, singing straight into the eyes of untold thousands of sweaty fans. Her band either thrashes or sways behind her, depending on circumstance, but Teasdale\u2019s motions are poised to the point of choreography, feline and ferocious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Older tracks like \u201cChaise Longue\u201d take new form, now with heavier, harsher melodies and even less chalance on Teasdale\u2019s part. Her band plays flawlessly, but might as well evaporate into thin air behind her when she gives us the vulnerable, yet ever-self-assured \u201cmangetout.\u201d All eyes are on Teasdale, and it\u2019s no mistake.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In farewell to their earlier, more collaborative works, Wet Leg now exists around her magnetism and presence, and no one\u2019s standing in her light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Photos by Tim Snow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve always preferred the explosive yet silky stylings of Wet Leg after dark.
