Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des tourn\u00e9es et \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de concerts annuels \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, NO HAY BANDA offre un espace aux artistes qui travaillent en marge des genres \u00e9tablis pour r\u00e9aliser des projets qui n&#8217;auraient pas vu le jour autrement.&nbsp;<strong>NO HAY BANDA&nbsp;<\/strong>collabore avec&nbsp;<strong>Tomomi Adachi&nbsp;<\/strong>pour la premi\u00e8re de son nouvel op\u00e9ra,&nbsp;<strong>Body without Organs (with Organ)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Le percussionniste&nbsp;<strong>Patrick Graham<\/strong>&nbsp;et la harpiste \/ interpr\u00e8te de koto&nbsp;<strong>Sarah Pag\u00e9&nbsp;<\/strong>ont une connexion musicale \u00e9tonnante, voire \u00e9trange, dans laquelle leurs mondes sonores acoustiques et \u00e9lectroniques s\u2019\u00e9quilibrent tout en faisant preuve d\u2019une multitude d\u2019influences et d\u2019approches compositionnelles. Les deux ont suivi une formation similaire en musique classique occidentale, sont dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s des m\u00eames \u00e9coles &#8211; \u00e0 dix ans d\u2019intervalle &#8211; et partagent une passion pour la musique japonaise qu\u2019ils ont tous deux \u00e9tudi\u00e9 assid\u00fbment. Exp\u00e9rimentateurs infatigables, il et elle s\u2019efforcent de r\u00e9inventer leurs instruments \u00e0 travers des traitements \u00e9lectroniques et des capteurs personnalis\u00e9s, tout en explorant leur amour mutuel des textures acoustiques \u00e0 travers des accordages et installations d\u2019instruments innovants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NO HAY BANDA<\/strong>&nbsp;is collaborating with&nbsp;<strong>Tomomi Adachi<\/strong>&nbsp;to premiere his new opera,<strong>&nbsp;Body without Organs&nbsp;<\/strong>(with Organ). Performed in a church, the grand acoustic atmosphere is considered part of the ensemble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Percussionist&nbsp;<strong>Patrick Graham<\/strong>&nbsp;and harpist\/ koto player&nbsp;<strong>Sarah Pag\u00e9&nbsp;<\/strong>have an unusually coincidental, even eerie, musical connection that balances the worlds of acoustic and electronically manipulated sounds while displaying multitudinous influences and compositional approaches. The pair share backgrounds in Western classical music, graduating from the same schools ten years apart, and a passion for Japanese music, which they have both studied extensively.
