L’histoire de NTO a commenc\u00e9 par un mariage parfait, un gamin du sud de la France toujours accroch\u00e9 \u00e0 sa guitare et \u00e0 la musique \u00e9lectronique et de danse. Apr\u00e8s avoir particip\u00e9 au festival Sziget \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 18 ans, NTO a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 fr\u00e9quenter r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement la Villa Rouge et le Bar Live, deux clubs l\u00e9gendaires du sud de la France. \u00c0 l’\u00e9poque, la techno minimale allemande est en plein essor et Anthony Favier passe ses nuits \u00e0 \u00e9couter Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, ou les tout d\u00e9buts de Paul Kalkbrenner : “Mon plus gros coup de c\u0153ur musical de tous les temps”. Le pouvoir \u00e9vocateur de la musique, les kicks puissants et l’atmosph\u00e8re f\u00e9d\u00e9ratrice des dancefloors : voil\u00e0 le triple axe qui l’incitera \u00e0 cr\u00e9er et produire de la musique sans passer par la phase DJ habituellement obligatoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The story behind NTO started with a match made in heaven, a kid from the South of France always hooked to his guitar, and electronic and dance music. After going to the Sziget Festival when he was 18, NTO started to hang out regularly at La Villa Rouge, and Bar Live, two legendary clubs in the South of France. At the time, German minimal techno music was booming and Anthony Favier would spend his nights listening to Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, or the very beginnings of Paul Kalkbrenner: “My biggest music crush of all time\u201d. The evocative power of music, strong kicks and the unifying atmosphere of dancefloors: this is the triple focus that will inspire him to create and produce music without going through the usually mandatory DJ phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
