La pi\u00e8ce de Jean-Pierre Guignon, quant \u00e0 elle, donne \u00e0 entendre une version virtuose pour deux violons du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre air des\u00a0<em>Sauvages<\/em>\u00a0de Jean-Philippe Rameau (titre de 1727), immortalis\u00e9 son l\u2019op\u00e9ra\u00a0<em>Les Indes galantes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flutist Arin Sarkissian won the OSM Competition in 2020 at the age of 21 &#8211; Mozart was the same age when he composed his Flute Quartet no. 1, a gem of the\u00a0<em>style galant<\/em>. Preceding this work, audience members will have the chance to discover two pieces for strings, including a Trio by American composer and missionary in Egypt John Antes, written around 1780 while he was recovering after being captured, then released by Ottoman adherents.
